A family session across the colonnade and the lawn at the Palace of Fine Arts, shot late in the day when the columns stop being white and start being gold.

The Palace is photographed constantly, which is the problem with it. The colonnade is the shot everybody already has, so the session was built to move: the columns for the frames that need the architecture, then out onto the grass where the light is doing something the building cannot.
Shot into the last hour of usable sun. The stone reads warm at that point rather than flat white, and it stops competing with the people standing in front of it.
