Commercial video production
Brand films, campaign spots and the vertical cutdowns that carry them. One team from the treatment to the final grade, so nothing is lost in a handoff.
Book a shoot
Most commercial video goes wrong before a camera leaves the case. A brief is written by one person and a treatment by another, a crew arrives who have read neither, and the edit is left to find a story in footage that was never shot to tell one.
We run the whole thing. The person who writes the treatment is on set, and the person on set is in the edit. That is the entire argument for keeping it in house, and it is why the finished film usually resembles what was agreed in the first meeting.
Flight Trajectory
How a commercial video project runs, start to orbit.
-
Flight plan
Treatment
What the film is for, who it speaks to and what it has to make them do. Written down before anything is booked, because a treatment is the only cheap place to change your mind.
-
Takeoff
Pre-production
Crew, casting, locations, permits and schedule. The shot list is built from the treatment rather than assembled on the day.
-
Altitude
The shoot
Directed on set, with aerial coverage where the story needs the wider view. Everything logged as it is captured.
-
Cruise
Post
Assembly, sound, colour and revisions, cut by someone who was there. That is the difference between an edit and a rescue.
