Marketing and websites

Websites, landing pages and campaign marketing, built around the work rather than bolted on after it.

Most sites are designed first and photographed into afterwards, which is why so much good work ends up cropped into a shape it was never framed for. When the same team shoots the campaign and builds the page it runs on, the crops are decided at the shoot and the site is built to the footage that exists.

The rest is the unglamorous half: pages that load fast, can be crawled, say plainly who you are and where you work, and put the enquiry somewhere findable.

Flight Trajectory

How a marketing & websites project runs, start to orbit.

  1. Flight plan

    What it has to do

One job per page and one action per visitor, decided before any layout, because a page that wants three things gets none of them.

  2. Takeoff

    Structure

Pages, URLs and internal links planned as a shape a search engine can crawl and a person can navigate.

  3. Altitude

    Build

Designed around the actual photography and film, responsive, and fast enough that the media does not cost the load.

  4. Cruise

    Campaign

Landing pages, email and distribution, using the assets from the shoot rather than stock.

  5. Orbit

    Measure

Search data read after launch and acted on: what people search, what they land on, and what they do next.
