The ask
Competition days do not wait for a camera crew. Brynlee had one weekend of heats and needed footage that would satisfy sponsors, carry a highlight reel, and cut down for socials — all from a run that happens once.
What we did
We covered the event from two positions at the same time. A chase boat kept a low, fast line on the water for the turns and the spray; a drone held the wide, so the shape of each ride reads from above.
Both angles were shot to cut together, which meant matching frame rates and light across the day rather than fixing it later.
Delivered
A 1:38 competition film, edited and coloured in house. Brynlee took first in the pro division that weekend.
