Social media content

Vertical series and campaign cutdowns built for the feed, not retrofitted to it. Enough from one shoot to cover a month.

Most social content is offcuts. A campaign gets shot wide for a hero film, and the vertical clips are cropped out of it afterwards, which is why so many feeds look like a landscape ad with the sides missing.

Shooting for the feed is a different brief: framed vertical while the camera is still up, cut short enough to hold, and produced in enough volume that a month of posting comes out of one day rather than one post out of one shoot.

Flight Trajectory

How a social media content project runs, start to orbit.

  1. Flight plan

    The calendar

What has to go out, on which platform, over what period. The shoot is scoped from the calendar rather than the calendar improvised from the footage.

  2. Takeoff

    Batching

Looks, setups and locations grouped so a month of posts is captured in a single day instead of five.

  3. Altitude

    The shoot

Framed vertical natively, with the horizontal versions taken alongside rather than the other way round.

  4. Cruise

    Edit

Cut short, captioned, and paced for sound-off viewing, because most of it will be watched that way.

  5. Orbit

    The month

Delivered as a batch, named and organised so posting is scheduling rather than another editing job.

What you get

  • A batch of vertical videos, captioned
  • Stills in feed and story crops
  • Horizontal versions where the campaign needs them
  • Everything named and organised for scheduling

What we need from you

  • The posting calendar, or an honest guess at cadence
  • Which platforms actually matter to you
  • Product, people or access for the shoot day
